The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services was hit by a cyberattack right in the middle of the global coronavirus pandemic.
The Sunday night attack, according to media reports, was aimed at slowing the department’s ability to respond to the coronavirus.
According to reports, HHS officials do not believe any significant data was stolen.

On Sunday night, the National Security Council realized there had been a cyberattack, according to Bloomberg, and sent the following tweet:

Sources told Bloomberg the Trump administration is aware of the incident.
