A Clayton County judge Friday morning granted bond for a woman who is accused, along with her husband, of keeping her 13-year-old stepson from his mother for four years.

In late November, the boy led police via cell phone to where he was being kept, in a tiny crawl space between the attic and garage of his father's Jonesboro home.

Police had come to the home earlier that evening looking for the boy, but his father, Gregory Jean, and Jean’s wife, Samantha Joy Davis, denied knowing the teen. Police arrested Jean and Davis, along with three other juveniles who were in the home and also denied knowledge of the teen.

The boy went missing shortly after visiting Jean in 2010.

Friday morning, Davis, who is charged with cruelty to children, false imprisonment, obstructing an officer and aggravated assault, was granted bond totaling $75,000 on the four charges, according to Channel 2 Action News and jail records.

Jean was also scheduled to appear before a judge Friday, but waived his appearance.
