Atlanta police have released a sketch of a man suspected to have assaulted a woman in her home during a burglary Thursday morning.
According to APD reports, after arriving at the apartment home in the area of Park Avenue and Sydney Street in southeast Atlanta, police were told by the victim that she awoke to find a man burglarizing her home. When she attempted to call 911, the man punched her in the face, and after the two struggled and fell to the floor, he touched her sexually. The man then got up and took several items — an iPad, purse, cash and credit cards — before leaving, the report said.
The suspect was described as a black man 25 to 30 years old, 5-foot-11 to 6 feet tall, and about 180 pounds. He was wearing a white T-shirt that covered his face, basketball shorts and black Adidas shoes.
