After a year of event cancellations, Lilburn will welcome guests back for its free summer concerts starting in June.

Rumours, a Fleetwood Mac tribute band, will kick off the Rock the Park concert series with a performance at 7 p.m. on June 4 at Lilburn City Park. Dial Up, a Tucker-based band, will be the opening act.

In anticipation of the concert, Lilburn Planning Commissioner A.J. Passman recreated a video that once went viral on TikTok, the video-sharing app popular with younger audiences. In the original video, a man drinks cranberry juice while skateboarding to the song “Dreams” by Fleetwood Mac.

Food vendors will open at 6:30 p.m. Guests can bring lawn chairs, blankets and coolers to the event. Beer, wine and margaritas will be available for purchase, but no outside alcohol will be permitted.

Masks are recommended but not required for the event.

Lilac Wine and Georgia Players Guild will perform at the second Rock the Park concert on Sept. 18. The Gwinnett city will also bring back its Food Truck Tuesday events, held 6-9 p.m. every second Tuesday night of each month May through October, with live music from local artists.
