APS families can pick up food, find services at E. Rivers event today

Atlanta Public Schools' families and employees can pick up free food and learn about services offered by the district today at E. Rivers Elementary School.

The event runs until 2:30 p.m. at the school located at 8 Peachtree Battle Ave. in the district’s North Atlanta cluster. The organization Operation Feed is providing fresh produce, dairy products, meat and nonperishable food. APS also has school social workers and information about other district services on site.
