An Atlanta middle school student reported that she was accosted at knife point by a man while walking to the bus stop Thursday.

The 14-year-old girl at Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School said she was walking from her from house on Custer Avenue to the bus stop by the Gladstone Apartments when a man began chasing her, according to an Atlanta police report.

The man grabbed her arm and put a knife to her chest but ran off without injuring her when a bystander shouted that she was calling police, the report said.

The man was described as about 30-years old, dark-skinned African American in a blue shirt, white pants and no shoes, the report said.
