Ahead of President Donald Trump's likely impeachment Wednesday in the U.S. House of Representatives, thousands of people marched across the nation Tuesday evening, organized by liberal groups such as Impeach and Remove, Common Cause and MoveOn.org.

The groups said they organized more than 600 events from Alaska to Florida.

Pro-impeachment rallies were held in Portland, OregonMadison, Wisconsin; and Times Square in New York City, where hundreds turned out in favor of Trump's impeachment.

Other rallies were reported in St. Paul, Minnesota; Denver; San Francisco; and Los Angeles, where activist-actress Alyssa Milano and former U.S. Rep. Katie Hill appeared, according to The Blaze.

Hill, who resigned from Congress after allegations of inappropriate relationships with staffers, said, “It’s time to impeach the motherf***er!"

Milano, who has been a vocal opponent of Georgia’s now-delayed abortion law, shouted, “I'm premenopausal and I'm angry!”

In Chicago, a large crowd of protesters gathered at Federal Plaza with the message "Trump is not above the law," according to Deadline.

On Wednesday, however, Trump supporters were seen around Capitol Hill, as Democrats prepared to move ahead with two articles of impeachment.
