All Gwinnett County Public Schools students will learn digitally from home Tuesday so teachers can plan lessons.

Students will work independently on assignments from their computers. They will not have real-time classes with teachers.

The digital learning day is one of four that the district scheduled in November when administrators amended the school calendar.

About 55 percent of the 177,000 students in Gwinnett come to school in person on days that are not fully digital.
