An FBI raid netted five accused bank robbers Tuesday in Fairburn.

“They all got picked up this morning and their arraignments started this afternoon, ” Bob Page, spokesman for the U.S. Attorney in Atlanta, told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Agents, with guns drawn, smashed through the front door of a home in the 7700 block of Birdsview Drive shortly after 6 a.m., according to Channel 2 Action News.

The group netted about $22,000 in hitting a Wells Fargo bank in the Virginia Highlands neighborhood Feb. 27, according to an indictment. Federal agents also arrested a sixth person on charges of assisting the gang after the robbery.

Connie Cristobul Montoya, Joe Francisco Montoya, Ryan Vincent Hill, Xavier Cornelius Shields and Paris Lashay Pagett all face federal bank robbery charges. Tekevious Nicole Brandon aided to at least one member of the group, the indictment said.

Some members of the group were also indicted for lying to FBI agents when interviewed about the stick-up shortly after the robbery.
