Gwinnett Police on Monday announced an increased reward to help solve a home-invasion robbery last spring.

The family of Antonio Macklin has partnered with Crime Stoppers to offer a reward of $4,500 for information leading to the arrest and indictment in the May 20 case involving three armed men donning dark camouflage near Snellville.

A struggle took place at the Haynes Circle home off of Centerville Rosebud Road during the robbery and the 35-year-old Macklin, of Lithonia, was shot, police said.

“Investigators spoke with several witnesses and learned that the victim was known to sell drugs and believed robbery was the motive for the shooting,” Cpl. Ed Ritter told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution shortly after the robbery.
