The Milton City Council recently approved a $19,850 agreement with Practical Design Partners, LLC for the final design plans of the Mayfield Road Sidewalk Project.
This project in the Crabapple area was identified in the 2020 Trail Prioritization Plan to connect the new Lakeside Park to Freemanville Road at the Alpharetta border.
Preliminary plans have been completed for a sidewalk along the Lakeside Park frontage and extending on the north side of Mayfield Road to the intersection with Freemanville Road.
This agreement for final design work of the sidewalk/trail extension includes plans for right-of-way acquisition and erosion control of the sidewalk extension.
