Two new appointees to the Main Street Advisory Board were approved by the Stockbridge City Council at its Aug. 31 regular meeting. Vanessa Gibson, owner of Eagle’s Landing Dance Center, was tapped to fill the arts organization position on the board. Elf Cakery CEO Prayer Finely was named to the board position representing businesses outside the Main Street district.
In other business, the council approved a $270,000 contract for an outside firm to assist the city with various services for the design, bidding and construction of the city’s planned cultural arts center. Information: cityofstockbridge.com.
