Officials with Henry County’s public schools released test results for the Class of 2021 that showed improvement in the overall composite score for the second consecutive year. The district’s composite ACT score rose 0.6 points over the previous year to 20.3, equal to the national average, while district scores in all categories — English, math, reading and science — improved as well. Henry County, as did the rest of the state and nation, saw fewer students take the test while standardized test scores were waived as a college entrance requirement due to difficulties brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
