This year, Kennesaw’s Annual Touch-A-Truck and Fall-O-Ween events have been combined for a one-day, family-fun event.
Kennesaw Parks & Rec will present Truck-or-Treat from 3 to 9 p.m. on Oct. 16 at Swift-Cantrell Park, 3140 Old 41 Highway, Kennesaw.
Children can view dozens of larger-than-life trucks, heavy construction and public safety equipment, cool cars and specialty vehicles.
They can meet vehicle owners and operators while touching, climbing on and interacting with this transportation exhibition.
Also, the event will include a candy trail, costume contests, a scavenger hunt, field games and music.
After sundown, the event will end with a showing of the original “Ghostbusters” (PG, 1984).
Bring a blanket or low-back chairs but not pop-up tents, canopies or beach umbrellas that can obstruct the view of others.
Parking will be available inside the park and at neighboring Kennesaw Elementary School, 3155 Jiles Road NW, Kennesaw.
This year’s Truck-or-Treat is presented by Superior Plumbing.
