The qualifying period for the City of Woodstock’s 2021 Municipal General Election has ended, according to a press release.

Between Monday, Aug. 16 and Wednesday, Aug. 18, four candidates successfully qualified, according to City Clerk Rhonda Pezzello.

  • Incumbent Warren Johnson qualified as candidate for Council Member Ward 1.
  • Incumbent Colin Ake qualified as candidate for Council Member Ward 3.
  • Incumbent Brian Wolfe qualified as candidate for Council Member Ward 5.
  • Michael Caldwell qualified as Mayoral Candidate.

Woodstock Mayor Donnie Henriques is not seeking an additional term, so it appears all candidates are running unopposed.

The Municipal General Election is scheduled for 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 2, at the Woodstock Library, 7735 Main St.

The terms are for four years beginning on Jan. 1.
