Cherokee County OKs agreement with Nelson for Sunset Park improvements
The Cherokee County Board of Commissioners recently approved an intergovernmental agreement with the city of Nelson for the Sunset Park improvement project.
At its May 4 regular meeting, the Cherokee County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved an intergovernmental agreement with the city of Nelson for the Sunset Park improvement project, according to a press release.
The county will manage the project including advertising for bids, reviewing bids, recommending the award of a bid and contract management.
The city will pay for the design, right of way, utilities, and any permitting and construction costs associated.
