Where can I find it?

Q: I am a big fan of your column, and I am hoping you can help me with a very special request. My dearest childhood friend is getting married, and she wants one of two specific sets of flatware; one is called Copper Rose Mirror and the other is Finity. Both are by WNK. I know she's very partial to the former, but would also be happy with the latter. My friends and I want to pool our resources to buy her this flatware. In all of my research, it seems that this flatware is produced for the food service industry. I am hoping you can locate a domestic supplier who will sell to the public. I found information about WNK online, and it's located in Hong Kong. I am willing to make an international purchase and buy direct, if necessary. It would mean so much to my friend to receive this set. Thank you for your assistance. — JC Myers, email

A: Your friend is a lucky bride who soon will be using her second favorite flatware, Finity. There seems to be no trace of Copper Rose Mirror, unfortunately. And you or your friends won’t have to worry about getting involved in any type of international transaction because I found a local source that sells Steelite, which, owns Worthy, Noble and Kent (WNK) flatware. You can call or visit Atlanta Fixture and Sales Company, 3185 Northeast Expressway, Atlanta, 770-455-8844, to place the order and get pricing information. Note that each piece of Finity flatware is sold in packages of 12. Atlanta Fixture and Sales can ship the flatware to your home, if you like.

Q: Where can I find Max Factor Pan Stik, deep olive, 14 gram? My fingers are crossed. Thanks. — Mary Stewart, email

A: Unfortunately, Max Factor discontinued Pan Stick makeup a few years ago and sold it on its website until stock ran out. You're now limited to finding it on amazon.com and ebay.com. Amazon has the makeup for $8 per tube, and while you'll find the deep olive color you use, it's only available in the smaller 9-gram size. If this is the only makeup for you, buy as much as you can before it disappears for good.

Q: I was recently in Boston visiting friends, and they served Utz potato chips for lunch. They were wonderful. I have looked at all the local stores here and have not been able to find them. Any help? Thanks. — Suzanne Mack, Woodstock

A: Utz, which rhymes with nuts, is a family-owned snack brand from Hanover, Penn., that’s been around since the 1920s. I found several flavors of Utz potato chips, including regular, honey barbecue and sour cream-onion, at Kroger, 570 E. Crossville Road, Roswell, ‎770-640-2070. You’ll find 9.5-ounce bags for $4.29 on aisle 5.

Q: I want to find a seasoning for meat that's called 3000. It's excellent on grilled chicken. Unfortunately, none of the stores in my area seem to have this. I had some in a little bag that someone gave me so there was no information saying exactly what it is or where to get it. I sure hope you can help me. Thank you. — Peggy Gardner, Atlanta

A: It sounds as if you’re looking for BBQ 3000, a seasoning blend from Penzey’s Spices, 6235 Roswell Road, Sandy Springs, 404-256-7970. This smoky rub includes salt, paprika, pepper, nutmeg, mustard and cinnamon. It’s available in a half-ounce jar for $4.45, and sizes go up to a 1-pound bag for $25.50.
