Q: I am looking for a product made by The Naked Bee. It’s the hand and cuticle healing salve. I see other products made by the company, but no cuticle cream. It is packaged in a tin box, a little over an inch square in size. Could you help me find it in Atlanta? Thank you. — Betty Harrison, email

A: Betty, the Health and Wellness Store, 2675 N. Decatur Road, 404-501-7025, is part of DeKalb Medical Center, and it stocks a wide variety of The Naked Bee products. You’ll find 1.5-ounce tins of the hand and cuticle healing salve for $8 at the store.

Q: Many years ago, I purchased some waterfowl feather pillows in Ontario, Canada, at a store called Zellers. They are great, but they are wearing out. The outer covering is 100-percent cotton. I think this store is closed now, and I don’t know where else to look. I would like to purchase them again if I could locate a store where they are sold. I would so appreciate any information about them. Thank you. — Rose Mazur, Atlanta

A: Rose, Zellers was a Canadian discount department store that was recently bought out by the Target Corporation. However, even before Target took over, Zellers wasn’t carrying any if its original merchandise, but it operated as a liquidator. That is to say that your original pillow no longer is available from Zellers. However, there are plenty of other pillows filled with feathers and down from waterfowl, meaning geese and ducks. For instance, Bed Bath & Beyond, 1 Buckhead Loop, Atlanta, 404-869-0457, stocks Hollander pillows filled with 95-percent white feathers and 5-percent down with a 100-percent cotton cover. A standard pillow costs $19.99.

Q: On a vacation to South Africa, I had an unusual but tasty sandwich spread that contained a fish paste. I’ve looked locally, but can’t find a trace of this. It’s called Peck’s Anchovette. I’d really appreciate if you could tell me if it’s available anywhere in the Kennesaw area, but I don’t mind driving to find this. Thank you. — Al Lambert, email

A: You’re in luck, Al. I’ve recently been introduced to The Queen’s Pantry, 4235 Merchants Walk Drive, Marietta, 678-483-0900. This shop stocks gifts as well as food items from the United Kingdom and South Africa. The store carries jars of Peck’s Anchovette spread for $4.80 each.

Q: I am looking for a local place where I can purchase anise seeds. Thank you. — Connie DiEmmanuele, email

A: While anise seeds are somewhat similar to fennel seeds, in that they can be used in savory foods and baked goods where you want to impart a slightly licorice flavor, anise seeds are smaller and, according to some, a bit more delicate. Locally, you can find whole anise seeds at Penzeys, 6235 Roswell Road, Sandy Springs, 404-256-7970. Whole anise seeds are available in .9-ounce jars for $3.45 and 4-ounce bags for $5.15.
