What wedding guests thought was going to be a traditional father-daughter dance turned out to be an epic mashup of popular songs and entertaining dance moves.
For nearly four minutes, Mikayla Ellison Phillips and her father, Nathan Ellison, danced in front of 400 wedding guests to songs including LMFAO's "Party Rock," Sugar Hill Gang's "Apache," M.C. Hammer's "U Can't Touch This" and NSYNC's "Bye Bye Bye."
A video of the dance, recorded by wedding videographer Bethany Petersen, has garnered more than 4 million views on YouTube.
"I'm the oldest and the only girl, so that was my dad's only chance to do something like this," Phillips, 25, told ABC News. "He, for years, has talked about doing that, and he finally convinced me."
Phillips, a trained dancer who lives in Utah, and Ellison spent only a week choreographing the dance and practicing its execution.
"Every night (in the week) prior to the wedding, we'd run through it a few times," Phillips told ABC. "I think since we'd talked about it for years that it was pretty easy for it to come together."
