KCBD reported that the home was built by Jordan Wheatley Custom Homes.

Wheatley admitted that he wanted something that was going to be over the top.

"The homeowner that bought this home is a very humble lady and her husband," Wheatley told KCBD. "Very down to earth."

"She said that she had a small closet in the house she's in now. I said, 'Now you don't anymore,'" he said.

KCBD reported that the elaborate home is part of Lubbock's annual Parade of Homes fundraiser, which allows people in the surrounding area to see some of the most extravagant homes in Lubbock.

The event raised money for the Homes For Heroes Foundation.

The Homes For Heroes Foundation mission "provide or coordinate financial assistance and housing resources to our Nation's Heroes such as Military personnel, Police/Peace Officers, Firefighters and First Responders who are in need," according to the foundation's website.
