A stranger walked into a busy ice cream shop Saturday night in Texas, handed the cashier his credit card and said he wanted to pick up the tab for every customer.

By the end of the night, the man, identified by Sweet Sammies staff only as "Mr. Gary," had paid for almost $1,000 worth of ice cream, according to WFAA. The man added a $300 tip for staff.

Sweet Sammies told WFAA that it will hang the 7-foot receipt on the shop’s wall.
