This project is the perfect pick-me-up to give to those who are under the weather this winter. Surprise them with a tray of honey, lemon, tea and cough drops with pretty packaging and a nice note to brighten up their day!
Gather:
Box lid
Pretty patterned paper
Tea mug
Coordinating ribbon
Tea bags
Cough drops
Honey
Lemons
Rubber cement
Scissors
Pencil
Create:
1. Trace each side of your box lid onto the backside of your crafting paper with a pencil. Measure the inside bottom of your box and cut out a coordinating paper according to that measurement.
2. Using rubber cement or any paper craft glue, attach your paper pieces onto your box. We decided to keep it simple and only cover the outside and the bottom of the inside of our box lid.
3. Gather all of your get well ingredients and place on the tray.
4. Tie the ribbon on the mug for a cheery touch.
For our get well soon tray, we used paper from our Embellish by Dena Little Azalea Collection for Darice. The mug is the Anika mug by Dena Designs for Zrike Dinnerware. We used the pretty Ikat in pink ribbon from our Tangier ribbon collection for Renaissance Ribbons.
