Retailers are coming up with ideas to bring in business
Walmart and Target are among the retailers that have strategies for getting holiday spenders out.
Starting Nov. 1, Walmart says it will be offering price cuts on thousands of holiday products that will last at least 90 days. The chain is also offering free shipping on any orders of at least $50, as well as free in-store pick-up at thousands of locations.
Target has said it will match its online prices with more than two dozen online competitors. The retail chain will offer free shipping and returns on any online purchases until Christmas Day with no minimum purchase amount is required.
