If you can't afford to take a beach vacation this summer then head to Go Eat Give, an event that will highlight flavors of Puerto Rican culture and cuisine from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25. The menu will be created by three award-winning Atlanta chefs—Hector Santiago of El Super Pan, Andres Gomez of Porch Light Latin Kitchen and Julio Delgado of JP Atlanta. Together, they will cook classic Puerto Rican dishes including mofongo, chicharron de pollo, lechon asado and more. While there, sample beers from Second Self Beer Company, practice salsa moves and hear Dr. Maria Carrion of Emory University speak about her native country.
