History: SafeHouse Outreach was founded in 1982 by Philip Bray, who wanted to reach people on the street who were considered unreachable. The nonprofit aims to help those who are homeless to achieve stability and independence.

Did You Know: SafeHouse normally serves up to 120 hot meals every day, but because of the pandemic it is serving more than double that. SafeHouse provides a career development program and other services.

Motto: SafeHouse Outreach always treats people with dignity while providing a hand up, not a handout.

How You Can Help: Financial donations can help them purchase the everyday items they need, especially during the epidemic, when they are feeding and serving more than ever. In-kind contributions of new underwear, socks, paper goods, cleaning supplies and hygiene items are always needed and appreciated.
