Harmony crusade: The Universal Brotherhood of the U.S.A., also known as Sant Nirankari Mission (, invites all to join Baba Hardev Singh Ji in a “Oneness” crusade to bring down the walls of hatred, color and racism to instead build bridges of love for everyone. Stage play: Once Upon a Mattress,” a fun, raucous, romantic and melodious stage play that takes a spin on the familiar classic “The Princess and the Pea,” will be performed at various times from July 19-Aug. 8 at Alpharetta Presbyterian Church. With royal courtship and comeuppance plus lots of shenanigans, guests will view fairy tales in a different light. Tickets are $10-$18. Information: 180 Academy St., Alpharetta.

Three-day revival: The annual Spiritual Formation Conference 2015 will take place July 27-29 at Clarkston First Baptist Church. Each evening, services will start at 7:30 p.m. and feature a guest pastor from Atlanta-area churches. The lineup is as follows: Pastor Clinton McFarland of Grace Baptist Church will speak on Monday, July 27; Pastor Michael Benton of Fairfield Baptist Church, Tuesday, July 28; and Pastor Wendy Smith-Martin of Greater Victory Christian Center, Wednesday, July 29. Ice cream social: It’s an evening of fun featuring water balloon tossing games and ice cream churns! From 5-7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, Bethel United Methodist Church invites community members to partake in the festivities, bring a lawn chair and share stories. Free and open to all. “Mary Poppins” musical: Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s “Mary Poppins” will be performed at the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta’s (MJCCA) Morris & Rae Frank Theatre from Aug. 6-16, with varying showtimes. Get ready to fly over the rooftops of London and into this “supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” musical adventure, which is appropriate for all ages. Tickets are $15-$28.
