Of note: The Rev. R.B. Sutton will retire as pastor of Dixie Hills First Baptist Church in Atlanta on June 12. He has been preaching for a total of 59 years and served as moderator and Dean of Minister of the Atlanta Missionary Baptist Association, president of the Congress of Christian Education of the New Era State Convention of Georgia, and he is a past president of the Metro Atlanta Baptist Ministers Union.
