This black bear had a staring contest with the wrong cat.
Darlis Elliott of Alaska uploaded a short video to YouTube of her 2-year-old cat, Nani, in a stare-down with a big bear. The cat appeared ready to pounce the whole time and when it did, the bear went a-tumbling.

Embarrassing.
The bear just backed himself off the edge of the porch and headed back into the woods from where he had emerged.
Lions, tigers, bears — and cats? Oh, my.
