Dubbed the "resident odd couple" at Animal Rescue League of Iowa, tiny CC and big and fluffy Chewbacca are often seen cuddling in their kennel together.
Their former owner had a baby with allergies and the pair were brought to the shelter after caring for the dogs.

"Pretty much every time we walk by their kennel, CC is either sitting on Chewy or draped over him or curled up against him," Animal Rescue League of Iowa spokesperson Jessica Jorgenson told The Dodo. "Chewy, for his part, doesn't mind at all. They both like being close to each other."
Volunteers with the shelter had nothing but positive things to say about the two.
"We took them out for a dog day out, and they are such good dogs," Heather Davis wrote in a comment. "Great manners in the house and while walking on leashes. They didn't bark, they were friendly with everyone they met and they loved cuddling with humans, too!"
Four days after the Oct. 4 post, CC and Chewy were adopted.
The pair are now going to a home where they'll have more animal friends. Their new parents also have two other dogs and three pigs.
