A heartbreaking photo posted by Reddit user abernha3, shows a couple holding hands with their cat while on the way to the feline's final trip to the veterinarian.

His owner also said that Little Andrew was friendly and "loved everyone."

Reddit users who saw the photo offered their condolences and their own stories of loss of pets.
