The beginning of the cat's life was not smooth sailing.

The San Francisco SPCA named the kitten Lobstah. Unfortunately, Lobstah had more than just a deformed paw that resembles a claw. The cat also had an underdeveloped chest wall, a life-threatening condition.

According to The Dodo, doctors were able to construct a chest wall for Lobstah, who endured the surgery like a champ. Now Lobstah can turn to more fun things, like posing for adorable photos and growing his fan base on Instagram.
