The idea of a holiday-themed photo-shoot is not new for Lawrence. In December, he turned Rockwell into a real-life Elf on the Shelf.

Now, Lawrence is sharing photos of his son as a leprechaun, with some digital editing.

The art director and web designer snapped photos of his son playing various pranks on his family, which includes Lawrence, his six kids and his wife.

Lawrence said that his son's orange beard was a challenge.

"We almost didn't have him wear the beard because we couldn't find anything that looked good," Lawrence told Today.com. "When you search for orange beards for babies on Amazon, the results are not awesome. At the very last minute we ended up finding some fluffy fabric that looked perfect."

Lawrence, who blogs about his life with six children, one of which has Down syndrome, said his entire family pitches ideas for photos.

In each one, he holds Rockwell and edits himself out, adding other touches to make the ideas come to life.

"I am pretty meticulous about keeping the magic looking as real as possible," Lawrence said.
