Drowning is the fifth-leading cause of unintentional injury death in the United States, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Young children between the ages of 1 to 4 are particularly at risk.

A video that has quickly gone viral offers viewers the opportunity to spot a child showing signs of drowning in a crowded pool situation. The lifeguard responds immediately to the child in distress, and the child is safely removed from the pool.

The video has over 1 million views since being uploaded this week by Lifeguard Rescue.
