Bei Bei the panda cub delighted a large crowd gathered at the National Zoo for his public debut Saturday.
The 22-pound cub was a bit shy at first, but eventually roamed his enclosure, giving fans plenty of opportunities for adorable photos.
Bei Bei was born on Aug. 22 to giant panda Mei Xang. Bei Bei's brother died within a week.
The panda’s name, which means “precious treasure," was announced in September.
