For some Florida drivers, getting pulled over by the police was their lucky day.
That’s because random drivers were selected for Operation Santa Stop 2015, conducted by the Fort Lauderdale Police Department and Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale.
Officers pulled random drivers over and pretended to run a driver’s license check, while asking them about the holidays and if they had completed their shopping. When drivers offered up items that they or their family members had on their wish list, the requests were radioed in to officers at local stores. The gifts were quickly purchased and delivered to the lucky drivers.
The gifts ranged from TVs to iPads and car seats.
The reaction of the drivers is priceless.
