MomoCon hits the ice
Can't wait for the next costume convention? Get ready for MomoCon Cosplayers on ice.
MomoCon Cosplayers on Ice is returning to the Centennial Park Ice Rink in Atlanta, and offering a free photo shoot event. On Dec. 8 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., fans of cartoons, comics and other pop-culture ephemera are invited to dress up as their favorite characters, ice skate, and have their picture taken by MomoCon photographers. Costumed fans can show up for their free pictures at the park rink, but must pay the $10 fee (rentals are included) to skate. Organizers suggest that costumed fans leave large props — especially those that look like weapons — at home. For more info, visit www.momocon.com
