Dacula

Dacula will host a Memorial Day event not to miss on May 30 this year, featuring a Fun Run and 5K and the Dacula Memorial Day Parade founded by Marvin Atherton. This year's parade will include marching bands as well as floats by the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, churches, local businesses and organizations, restored and active military vehicles, local community groups, vintage and antique cars and, of course, veterans and men and women actively serving in the military. The parade begins at 10 a.m., but make sure to come at 7:45 a.m. if you want to take part in the Fun Run or 5K.
Duluth

Come down to the Duluth Towne Green on May 28 to honor veterans this Memorial Day. The service will begin at 10 a.m. on the Festival Center Stage and will feature the presentation of colors by the Duluth High School Navy Junior ROTC, a wreath placement by the American Legion Riders and the singing of the national anthem by Manuel Covington.
Snellville

It's quite the event on May 28 in Snellville with the Memorial Celebration on the Towne Green, which will benefit the Snellville Veteran's Memorial. Beginning at 5 p.m., visitors can enjoy a veteran's program, a beer garden with over 20 craft beers, a silent auction and live music including The Return, a Beatles tribute band.
Norcross

Honor your local veterans at this year's Norcross Memorial Day Celebration, which will feature a musical presentation by the 313th U.S. Army Brass Band. The Masonic Lodge will prepare and serve hot dogs, so bring the whole family for a day of celebration and remembrance for the nation's veterans.
