The Genesee Brewing Co. in western New York has captured the spirit of the holiday with beer kegs — hundreds of them stacked in the shape of a Christmas tree and trimmed with 600 feet of green lights.

It’s topped with a rotating Genesee Brewery sign.

It took 20 employees to design and build the 300-keg tree.

It is a Christmas tree, not a drinking tree, and the kegs are empty — for now. After the holidays, the dismantled kegs will go back to the production line to be refilled, the company says.

The official public lighting ceremony is set for Dec. 18.
