Blue Bell Creameries has expanded its recall of products produced in its Broken Arrow, Okla., plant to include Banana Pudding Ice Cream pints. (Source: FDA.gov)

The pints tested positive for Listeria monocytogenes, as did other products produced on the same line.

“Although healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea, Listeria monocytogenes infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women,” according to a news release from the company.

The infection can also be harmful to "young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems," the release said.
