The Woodruff Arts Center will kick off its the second Free Family Festival on Sunday.
The three-hour event is part of the center’s Family Fun initiative in which families can participate in art-making, interactive musical story times, composers-in-training sessions, instrument making, drop-in acting classes and more, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. every Sunday for free.
Programming will be led by the Alliance Theatre, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, and the High Museum of Art.
In addition to the free activities happening throughout the Arts Center, the High Museum will offer free admission, including access to the exhibition Seriously Silly! The art & whimsy of Mo Willems and Habsburg Splendor: Masterpieces from Vienna’s Imperial Collections.

The Alliance Theatre will present Tell Me My Dream on the Alliance Stage at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m, and will offer free admission on a first-come, first-served basis. The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and the Atlanta Music Project will co-present a free film screening of Crescendo: The Power of Music, which will be followed by a panel discussion.
