Take a break from the studio with these 6 yoga spots across Atlanta

Exercise can be a great way to blow off steam, and what better way to relieve stress than yoga? So take a deep breath, relax and tat these metro Atlanta yoga classes:

On the Beltline

New to yoga? No problem. Take a 60-minute relaxing, yet challenging free yoga class, no experience needed. The Atlanta Beltline hosts a variety of free fitness classes. Check out the schedule online.

At a brewery

Treat yourself to some beer after a 75-minute yoga class at Reformation Brewery the first Saturday of each month as part of the Balance: Yoga + Beer series. For $20, yogis can participate in the class, a keeping tour and a beer tasting. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and classes are led by instructors from Ember Yoga. Walk-ins and reservations are welcome. Just remember to bring your own yoga mat and water.

Poolside 

Don't miss your chance to participate in W Atlanta's complimentary poolside yoga series taught by Carly Grace from Thunderbolt Power Yoga. Classes are the last Tuesday of every month from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Snacks and juices will be provided. Remember to check the website at the beginning of each month to RSVP.

In-home

Sweet Escape Yoga hosts a variety of classes around metro Atlanta, including private, in-home, corporate and free classes. Free group fitness classes are held outside, perfect for those who enjoy the outdoors. Check out their calendar for a schedule of free group classes.

Yoga rotates with barre classes every Wednesday at Avalon in Alpharetta until October. The best part? It’s free. It takes place from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at The Plaza.

At Woodruff Park

Grab a mat or towel and head to Woodruff Park for free yoga sponsored by Central Atlanta Progress. The series will continue every Wednesday through the end of September from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
