A couple from Pensacola, Fla., married Sunday in what is considered the first-ever "all-autism" wedding.

"Everyone involved in the wedding identified as being on the autism spectrum, including the DJ, classical harpist, wedding cake baker, officiant, groomsman, ushers, flower girls and ring bearer," FOX News reports.

Anita Lesko and Abraham Nielson, who both have autism, met at an autism group that Lesko created after she was diagnosed at age 50.  Although Nielson is only 28, the couple said their age difference is “irrelevant” and the most important thing is “to find someone you can trust,” according to FOX News.

The two married at the second annual Love & Autism: A Conference with Heart event in San Diego, Calif. Lesko was already scheduled to speak at the event and asked if she could hold her wedding during the event “so they could show that love and autism do co-exist,” FOX News reports.

“I immediately said yes,” said Dr. Jenny Palmiotto, founder of the Love & Autism conference, to FOX News. “It must be so different to live in a world where people assume that … you are inept or incapable of having a relationship, or maybe even don’t want one.”
