Nothing is better than a warm cup of coffee on a chilly winter day. So for the serious coffee lover on your list, look no further than Atlanta micro-roaster Firelight.

The company works with suppliers and farmers all over the world to source their coffee beans and then tailors the roasting process to each unique location, whether it's Columbia, Rwanda, Costa Rica or Ethiopia.

"We geek out over each lot that we roast. We talk about things like coffee farm altitudes, processing methods, and even farmer's names and their families over breakfast," say roasters Todd and Ryan. "Picking the right coffee and making ethical decisions (a value we will never compromise) is just as important as how we roast it."

Firelight takes flavor very seriously and considers the place the beans are grown to be an integral part of brewing the perfect blend. Of their Rwandan Certified Organic Kabirizi, they say: "The climate of the lake and the volcanic soil come together in some magical way to make deep cherry fruit tones in this flavorful bean."
