Have you been holding on to those Olympics mementos?

Maybe it’s time to dust them off.

A trio of winner's medals from the Atlanta Games fetched more than $11,000 during a recent Olympic memorabilia auction that included many items from the 1996 event.

An Olympic torch signed by boxing legend Muhammad Ali went for more than $3,660. Several of the torches were made and signed by Ali, but those up for bid did not include the one that he carried to light the Olympic flame.

Boston-based RR Auction is selling nearly 300 items, including 44 participation medals, 19 winners’ medals and 31 torches.

Top dollar was paid for a gold winner's medal from the 2012 London Summer Games that received a winning bid of $55,831.

The medal was designed by British artist David Watkins.

Bidders didn’t to pay thousands of dollars to walk away with a piece of Olympic history.

A bronze participation medal from the Olympics in Atlanta, complete with its original velvet pouch and green box, went for a modest $148.23.

In 2022, Georgia Power projected its winter peak electricity demand would grow by about 400 megawatts by 2031. Since then, Georgia has experienced a boom of data centers, which require a large load of electricty to run, and Georgia Power's recent forecast shows peak demand growing by 20 times the 400-megawatt estimate from just three years ago.
