The Fred will be silent this season.

The combination of the state edict that gatherings of no more than 50 people are allowed without social distancing enforcements, space limitations in the venue’s communal areas and the fact that many performers are canceling 2020 tour plans, caused the City of Peachtree City to cancel the slate of upcoming concerts.

Ticketholders will receive a refund via their method of purchase. Those having refund issues can email cs@ticketalternative.com or call 1-877-725-8849.

All of the following shows at the 2,500-capcity venue formally known Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater are canceled (the rescheduled Trace Adkins show for May 1, 2021, is not affected). Plans are currently underway for the rest of next year’s season.

Here is the canceled slate:

Aug. 8: Daughtry

Aug. 14: Pop 2000 tour Hosted by Lance Bass of *NSYNC with Mark McGrath of Sugar Ray, O-Town, & LFO

Aug. 21: 38 Special
