Soar to new heights with 100 seconds of action aboard the ArieForce One rollercoaster at Fun Spot Atlanta. The 154-foot-tall coaster features a 146-foot first drop, a top speed of 64 miles per hour and the “largest zero-G stall” in the U.S, according to Fun Spot’s website.

Located in Fayetteville, Fun Spot Atlanta unveiled plans for the new rollercoaster at a ground-breaking ceremony on Thursday.

The ArieForce One was first introduced at the IAAPA Expo in Orlando in November, 2021, the Orlando Sentinel reported. The name is a play on the name of Fun Spot’s founder John Arie Sr., his son, CEO John Arie Jr. said.

Fun Spot also has locations in Orlando and in Kissimmee, Florida, but chose its Fayetteville location, purchased in 2017, for ArieForce One.

“These [Florida] parks are a little landlocked, and it just was a natural step,” Arie said, the Sentinel reported. “I predict this to be a top-five coaster in America.”

Arie added that the company’s Atlanta master plan includes a water park and a hotel.
