The city of Johns Creek will celebrate the opening of its Veterans Memorial Walk with a ceremony that features an Army Ranger parachuting to the ground and recording artist Curtis Reed singing The Star-Spangled Banner. Seong-jin Kim, the consul general of the Republic of Korea, Georgia Commissioner for Veteran Services Mike Roby, Mayor Mike Bodker and veteran Roger Wise Jr. will all give speeches during the event.
