Oct. 16-17 Festival, Downtown Alpharetta
This year's festival has expanded to three days, with over 30 nationally recognized singer-songwriters. This kickoff event will feature performances by Liz Longley and The Whiskey Gentry. Tne festival continues in downtown Alpharetta with concerts on three stages featuring well-known songsmiths, such as Edwin McCain and Randall Bramblett, and local up-and-coming talent. The streets off Main Street will be converted into concert stages amid downtown Alpharetta's restaurants, galleries and bars. Wire and Wood has also been recognized as one of the "Top 20 Events in the Southeast" for October 2015 by the Southeast Tourism Society.

Come out and get your hands dirty for a great cause, cleaning up streams, waterways and school sites around Milton. This annual fall clean up event is an outreach program of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources that seeks to invoke awareness and participation in the maintenance and preservation of Georgia's pure water resources.

It's the last Alive After 5 of the year, with live music, food and entertainment. You will find vendors, food trucks and games in the downtown area. Parking can be found at City Hall, and trolleys will be offered for rides to Canton Street.

Sandy Springs Under 40 - 5 Seasons Brewing "Brew Tasting" | Oct. 13, 6-8 p.m.
