Four things to do around Atlanta on Thursday, Feb. 4:

1. FEATURED
The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra strikes again. David Coucheron plays Brahms' Violin Concerto and the orchestra premieres "A Thousand Words" at Atlanta Symphony Hall tonight at 8 p.m. Tickets range from $20 to $89. [If you love live music, then this week won't disappoint. See who's taking the stage here.]

2. FREE & CHEAP
Enjoy the First Thursday Downtown Art Walk: Blackness in Latin American from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Rialto Center. Free to the public. [Black History month is a time where all of us can partake in special events. Here are even more free happenings in February.]

3. FOOD
If you consider yourself a culinary adventurer but have never tried South African food — there's no excuse anymore. [Speaking of eating outside of the box, maybe this dish should be your next obsession.]

4. FAMILY-FRIENDLY
While we're talking about the wildest place on earth, catch the BBC's Wild Africa now playing at Fernbank Museum of Natural History. [Enlighten your young minds by taking them to these museums and galleries this week.]
