No Super Bowl Sunday: 7 alternative events for non-football fans

Whether they're just not much of a football fan, don't own a TV or still mad about DeflateGate, some Atlantans aren't gearing up for Super Bowl LI.

For those of us who won’t be glued to the tube, here are seven alternative activities to partake in this Sunday, Feb. 5.

Intown Atlanta

The 39th annual Jugglers Festival has unicyclists, hoopers, kendama, live music and, of course, jugglers.

Horror movie fans, rejoice! The Days of the Dead horror convention features many of the top names in horror including Linda Blair from "The Exorcist."

Experience the best of Georgia culture with the annual Super Museum Sunday. Over 70 Georgia museums will offer free admission, including some in Cobb County and Intown Atlanta.

Lead by Emory organist Timothy Albrecht, this one-hour performance will feature solo and chamber music by renowned German composer Johann Sebastian Bach.

Cobb County

Watch this medieval cantata come to life with choreography by David Bintley, music by Carl Orff and accompaniment by the Atlanta Ballet Orchestra and the Georgia State University Singers and Master Singers.

What's the polar opposite of football? Ice skating. Sugar Hill's popular ice rink is still open for the winter season. Tickets include skate rental.
